PuffLinks is a private cannabis wellness journal for adults (18+). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have. We built PuffLinks to be private by default — your journal is yours.
What we collect
- Account email — to create your account and sign you in.
- Your journal entries — the sessions you choose to log: strain, method, THC/CBD, terpenes, dose, symptom-relief ratings, mood, and notes.
- Basic app diagnostics — limited technical logs to keep the app working.
We do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and PuffLinks contains no third-party ads.
How your data is used
Your entries are used only to power your own journal and the personal insights shown to you (which strains/terpenes correlate with your best relief). Insights are computed for you, from your data. We do not sell, rent, or share your journal with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it's stored & who can see it
Entries are stored in our database (Supabase) and are protected by row-level security so that only your account can read or write them. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. No other user can access your journal.
How long we keep your data (data retention)
We retain your account information and journal entries only for as long as your account is active, so your journal and personal insights stay available to you. You can delete individual entries at any time in the app. When you delete your account, all of your journal entries and personal data are permanently deleted from our systems, typically within 30 days, and are not retained afterward except where we are required to keep limited records by law. Basic technical diagnostic logs are kept for a short period (up to 90 days) and then automatically deleted.
Your choices
- Edit or delete any entry at any time in the app.
- Delete your entire account and all data — see Delete your account.
- Turn on the in-app lock (biometric/passcode) for an extra layer.

PuffLinks is an informational wellness journal, not a medical device or a source of medical advice. It does not sell, deliver, or facilitate the purchase of any product. Always consult a qualified professional and follow the laws in your area.
Children
PuffLinks is intended only for adults 18 years or older. It is not directed to children.
